Hailing from the renowned Quinta São João Batista Estate is the latest Editions of Cabeça de Toiro: The Cabeça de Toiro Private Reserve. This new release is a wine of exceptional character. Produced from the varietal Alicante Bouschet, the grapes were picked by hand in the early hours of the morning and were vinied with continuous contact with the skins. The wine was aged 12 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a full bodied, complex wine with nuances of chocolate, tobacco and spices and a prolonged, harmonious finish. It were only produces 4500 bottles of this exquisite wine.
Serve with traditional Portuguese dishes, chanfana, stew and feijoada.
